HATFIELD CLASS SCHEDULE:

Fridays (Kickboxing): 6pm-6:45pm

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Our TKD Kickboxing class combines elements of Muay Thai, Kyokushin & Taekwondo for an all out cardio experience that focuses heavily on HIIT drills, bag work and exercise with sparring.

 

Train like a fighter to get incredible fitness results in this unique Kickboxing program that we have dubbed TKD Fit!

-Ages 7+

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

-Ages 7-13: Helmet, Mouth Guard, Shinguards, Chest Protector, Arm Guards, Groin Protector, Boxing Gloves.

-Ages 14+: Shinguards, Mouth Piece, Boxing Gloves, Groin Protector

-Workout Clothes, Gi, Dobak or MMA gear recommended for all ages

RANKING:

Students in the TKD Kickboxing program test 2x a year where they move through the Tetsujin-Kai 'Iron Belt' system.  During these tests, students showcase their sparring abilities in back to back round robin style matches.  After successfully completing 10 testingings, students are awarded and honorary Tetsujin-Kai Black Belt.

SPARRING RULES:

Ages 7-13:

-Kicks & Punches to Chest Protector ONLY

-No Head Contact, No Leg Kicks, No Clinching, No Sweeping

Ages 14+:

-Kicks & Punches to Body & Legs

-No Head Contact

-Optional Clinching & Sweeping

*$15 per session is the customary donation, however may be adjusted based on income.  All sessions are a direct service of Shinbushido-Kyo and donations contribute to their mission.
